POA Charter and By Laws

The Charter

The Pine Orchard Association is a neighborhood Association within the town of Branford Connecticut. The Pine Orchard Association (POA) was Granted a Charter by the State of Connecticut in 1903. The language of the Charter was approved eleven years later in March of 1914. The POA Charter outlines the governance and stewardship for the Association and can be found HERE.


The Pine Orchard Association By-Laws are outlined within this document. Its function is to provide amendments to the Charter to better reflect the changes in society, technology, and governance. That said, in case of a conflict between the By-Laws and Charter, the Charter shall prevail. The Pine Orchard Association Charter can be found HERE.
